Monday: We are presenting our arguments about climate change. We will take notes so that we can be prepared for the open note debate and paragraph-writing assignment tomorrow.
Tuesday: First, we will have a chance to question the evidence presented yesterday. Then we will write 1-2 paragraphs in our science journals to support how we really feel about climate change. The paragraph should include your claim (what you believe) and evidence from the last few days of note-taking.
HOMEWORK TUESDAY!!!! Take your green rubric from your plant experiment #2 home. Share your experiment, the assignment on Google Classroom, and the rubric with your parents. Remember that after you got the rubric you had a full class period to change and add to your assignment. I think this is why many of you did so well. Your parents will sign the rubric and you will bring it back to me. If you would like to make changes on your research paper, resubmit your paper to me by Friday.
Due: Friday, April 3.
Wednesday - Friday: We are working on summarizing and highlighting techniques. We are using the New York Times article from Wednesday, April 2 which describes Governor Brown's Executive Order mandating a 25% reduction in our water usage due to the drought.
